Ack!
bout to stinking cry.. not because i miss you guys but becuase i love you guys.. i am really gratful for bishop jarnagins letter, it meant alot to me. im stressed a bit today casue of this new stinking library and their computer policy basicly its just stupid, i wrote rach a letter about it so youll have to ask her.. she'll get the letter on thursday probably.. i love and miss you all.. i am so gratful to be a missionary and to continue to serve the Lord.. this area is very difficult.. biking all day long up countless hills.. im fine as soon as im off the bike and working but as soon as i get back on im almost filled with rage towards all of these ridiculous hills.. but hey, 1 Nephi 3:7 right? heh so yeah this library only lets me be on for like 20 minutes at a time.. so i couldnt really read all the emails, i will have to figure it out next p-day. so Elder McRae is an awesome guy, he goes home next transfer but I'm glad to serve with him here, becuase hey, he leads me up all these dang annoying hills! I wonder if there are biking elders in san francisco.. if so i feel at least a fraction of their pain. Ive been thinking about this alot.. naturally everytime i am biking up a hill i think about it.. I have thought alot about how i could tell president its more difficult than i enjoy.. but then i realized, oh yeah im here for a reason doy.. Ill i can do is hope and pray for strength! anyway hug and kiss sadie for me and tell her i said shes way awesome! also i hope everyone is doing good love ya bye!

YOLLO!
Zatada!
Hey all! Man this last week has been so rough.. biking is not the greatest thing in the world, but whatever, as long as we can find some people to baptize and work our hardest I'm happy! Columbia.. man the weather has been a joke the last few days.. whew.. on Saturday we biked the entire day, up and down hills in rain that started from 11 in the morning till 9 at night.. of course I totally got drenched and frozen, but whatever! Well I am enjoying the area but biking really takes a little bit away from the goodness of it in my mind.. I just feel sometimes that we could be much more effective in a car. We are working hard with an investigator right now named Ervin, hes a good guy and pretty humble, just needs to give up things that are holding him back but hopefully he will be getting baptized on the 18th, and if not, we are going to put Shantel on date for the 18th. She is a way cool and intelligent 16 year old who actually listened to our first and second lesson and really understood it too.. Man it is such an awesome tender mercy, and blessing to find people to teach who actually accept the Book of Mormon for what it really is.. It is so simple. More scripture from ancient prophets who lived in America.. the end.. But not the end because of course if it is a true record then Joseph Smith was indeed a true prophet, and if that was the case, then the Church we represent is truly Christ church once again restored to the Earth before the second coming just like the Book of Acts says (Acts 2 I believe). No the Book of Mormon was not written by Joseph Smith.. No it is not a history of the "Mormon" Church.. and No its not a different interpretation of the bible at all.. Just more ancient Scripture from the Lord Jesus Christ, to testify and prove that he has actually brought his church back today! Simple. I just want people to know we don't teach anything weird or crazy. All people have to do to find out is simply pray about it.. Man I love how simple and harmonious the Gospel of Jesus Christ is! Anyway.. Columbia.. Cool place, a thousand times different than Sumter that's for sure.. I don't hear sirens as often or possible gunshots. The ward is cool. The Bishop is the head guy for recruiting in the Army.. cool huh! I mean he is the guy at the very top of the Army that is in charge of army recruiting.. Bishop Comish is his name.. maybe i spell that right.. umm what else... Oh obviously i got a library card this time.. a different and nice lady helped out this time and didn't even ask about the 3 month thing. Mom thank you so much for the recipes!! I love it! We are moving to a new apartment across the street on Wednesday.. that will be nice.. we have a SUPER SMALL apartment.. umm.. dang i don't know what else to write about.. oh! We found some "investigators" who want us to join their church.. heh.. its funny, they are good people but very confusing and kinda deceiving.. anyway we went to their church last Sunday at like 6pm and it was.. different, the music was way cool, but I did not feel the spirit there at all... It was just like a big classroom where some guy just talks out of the bible.. But that was a neat experience.. Ill have to try and get a picture of the church.. umm.. i best get going the other elders are all done.. I love the work, my companion elder McRae says some really nice things about me and how i teach, so that's cool.. makes me feel good.. Oh I need to say sorry about the money situation.. I am no long going to take my credit card with me.. or actually I just wont use it unless it is an absolute emergency.. I'm sorry about that.. Well I hope everyone is doing way good.. I really cant write normal letters to anyone.. there's just no time.. so if i haven't written anyone yet (by the way for those of you who don't know.. we basically have "p-hours" its not really a bad thing but really only about 3 hours on p-day do we have to write letters and just "relax") we have time for emails and groceries then we can rest for a bit but then its right back to work! So that's why i try to do things so fast.. and why i get stressed..! Email me if you want a reply its the best way.. so Jess sorry I haven't written you back but i got your letters! Thanks! anyway! Love you all! be good missionaries.. if you feel like you could be a better member missionary its really simple.. all you have to do is meet with the missionaries and unload on them.. they will take up all the slack becuase we love to get members involved.. president hinkcly said something about member work.. it is a better way for missionary work.. so TALK to the missionaries!! they will do all the work you just give them names and ideas and ask them questions! do it! they will love you forever for it! baptisms come quite often from members rather than tracting.. that's why bryces mission is so awesome, members everywhere who give the missionaries work to do!! anyway love yaaa!!! have ot go!!! write me!
by the way "it means driftwood"!

The Office
Hey all! hope everyone's doing well.. i just lost my last email i was writing so you'll have to do without the proper grammar and stuff.. we'll.. I'll try.. so this past week has not been too fruitful but we finally have a baptism coming up the week before transfers! Bradley.. a way cool guy, and a blessing too because he is marrying a member!.. so that's cool!
Well.. there is a reason why the work was not as productive perhaps as it could have been.. and its a story of the legendary mission office.. and attic of names!.. So anyway, Elder Burrows and I were working on Wednesday morning just tracting when we got a call from Elder Moon (senior elder) and he told me that he had a one time offer for me. The computers at the office were having a major problem and so they needed Elder Littlefield (the other biking elder in Sumter, who happens to be a smart computer guy, but also pretty much one of the coolest Elders I've met yet.. way funny normal guy..) to go and see if he could fix the problem.. So they wanted me to go with him. So that morning we headed back to the apartments and went on exchanges while Elder Littlefield and I waited for the Moons (senior couple) to come pick us up and drive us down to the Mission Office in Columbia (about an hour away).. During all of this I had mixed feelings about the subject cause yeah, I happen to know things about computers.. and well, generally If you go to the office you don't really want anyone to know you have some computer "skills".. anyway, at length we arrived and Elder Littlefield went to work and I met the cool senior sisters who work in the office, as well as the current office elders (Elder Robinson from my MTC district is a current office Elder, so that was cool). Anyway I helped out now and then and eventually we were both working on the problem.. we worked all day and spent the night with the office elders at their apartment and then went back to work early on Thursday morning around 8:30ish.. we pretty much found a good solution and had the computers fixed around 9:30 in the morning but then other problems arose and things broke again.. so we ended up working all day again, but got it fixed and stuff.. It was cool to be there but also some of the boringest two days on my mission (office elders have a bit of a different job.. this is why i hope not really to serve there, but if i do i decided i will be one of the best office elders i can and actually get some baptisms..) Anyway the office is a cool place and actually kinda fun, and the office elders have a way cool apartment too... I got to talk with president mcconkie and also help him do some stuff on his computer for awhile (mistake?), also I took the liberty of siting in his chair when it was just us there.. heh.. and as for the attic, well there is an attic in the office that is full of names of missionaries all the way back to like 1993, so that was cool.. i put my name in there.. its cool cause you have to know "the secrets of the office" to have your name up there.. so yeah i went up there and wrote mine down.. and eventually we made it back to Sumter in a car Elder Moon let us drive down and we got home around 8:30ish that night.. so that trip kinda slowed the work down.. but it worked out getting another car here in Sumter because ours just broke two days ago, so we just got it towed this morning and have a new car now so that was a cool blessing in disguises.. anywho! I don't have a whole lot of time.. stinking computer messed up my last email!... well i love you all! And miss you guys too! oh also the weather is still cold here and I'm pretty much ready for that to go.. anyway love ya!! thank you for your emails and for everything you guys do! keep the streets clean.. i guess!
