Well I wish I could give you better advice about prayer but the only advice I can really give comes from James 1:5-6 and Moroni 10:3-5 and..
2 Nephi 32: 3
Angels speak by the power of the Holy Ghost; wherefore, they speak the words of Christ. Wherefore, I said unto you, feast upon the words of Christ; for behold, the words of Christ will tell you all things what ye should do.
And from my own understanding is that of asking the Lord specific questions, yes or no questions. We tell our investigators all the time that it is good to ask for direction, but better to ask for specific direction.. If you want to get a brand new blue hummer, you wouldn't simply ask for a "vehicle" at the dealership.. because then you might get anything and any color.. even if you say you want a hummer, you could get one of any other color than what you really wanted... but if you ask for a blue hummer, you'll get a blue hummer... I don't know if that helps much but the last thoughts come from a recent zone meeting that we had about prayer... First of all, if you want to learn about real sacred prayer, read an article in the august 2009 Ensign by elder Kikuchi, on page 16 i think I cant remember the title but it is called something like Your own sacred grove or something.. read that..
And then the 7 steps to prayer that we learn from Joseph Smith in Joseph Smith History 1:10-17
I bet you can find you're own in there, but determination is more than just one step, it is at least to.. determination to ask and ask, and determination to find out.. If you prayerfully read that I know you can find your own sacred grove in which you will receive powerful and direct revelation! I have done it and know that it works so find a time to do it, each and everyday that you can! I hope this helps! I love and miss you guys! Thank you for your uplifting and encouraging emails!
Love Ange.

Hey Everyone!
Hey all! Hope things are good and such as usual.. The work is still going kinda slow right now but I'm sure things will pick up. We are working with some cool people right now so we'll see! I'm sorry I don't have a whole lot to write today but the work does continue and I love it! Thank you Ben and Sarah for all your help.
Just as a heads up to everyone President McConkie has told the mission that we are not to receive any emails other than from family anymore, and we are not to email anyone other than family... so um get some stamps cause letters are way awesome!
Anyway I love and miss you all and hope everyone is doing great! My District and the Zone Leaders get to go with President McConkie and the Assistants to the Temple on Tuesday and then we are all spending the night at the mission home because of the baptisms we had last transfer.. (If it is a district of two companionships you have to get at least 7 baptisms and we had 8! The Zone Leaders also have to get 4 or something like that, and they did) Anyway that's pretty exciting!
I love y'all! Have a great day!

WOO!
Hey all hope everyone is doing great! Thanks so much for your emails and stuff! I really love you all! The work has slowed down but Elder Richardson and I will do our best to get things going again! Can't say I find much exciting about being out now more than a year, it is in reality a bit depressing to think I have been out longer than time that I have left.. ugh! This morning president McConkie called us and told us he was going to come see our companionship study. That was cool. I love President! He has been such a great example and priesthood leader! Not much to really tell y'all about lately though! Thank you for your prayers, I know they help! Thank you for all you do! Stay cool and stuff!

oh yeah..
Hey I know that we don't have money right now and stuff but over the next year I was wondering If I might be able to get one of those really good "shock pens" if someone could send me one? Also suit season starts up again in about 3 weeks.. ugh.. I will need probably at least $10-$30 to find a suit I can wear everyday and will likely find the best one at a thrift store in all honesty which probably wont cost more then $12 or so.. just a heads up if possible.. I haven't used my debit card in forever so I don't even know if there is money on that thing.. I'm sorry I suck so much money out of you guys.. please just let me know! love y'all!

Coolest Card Ever!
Isn't this awesome! What makes it even cooler is that no one in the family is under the age of 12.. and yet it looks like it was an 8 year old that made it..We all laughed about it when they gave it to us.. They made this after their baptism sometime and just gave it to us the next time we went to their home.. Cool.

BAPTISMS!!! HURRAH FOR ISREAL!
Elder Coony and Elder Adams.. former Zone Leaders at one point in different zones and Elder Cooney, former assistant.. two of my most favorite missionaries.. we took those pictures last wednesday the day before they headed home.. love those guys..
and of course 7 amazingly wonderful people who we can know all greet in the Celestial Kingdom! WooHoo!!
Love ya!

I bet he does.. I was only his favorite uncle afterall! Anywho.. Hey how is kyle doing? Does Tyler still think I'm cool.. cause if not, then I don't either! Anyway sorry for a short email! loveth you guys!
Elder McMurry
Sarah! Thanks for your emails! I hope that you guys are doing way good! How is the ward doing there in Keller? Do you guys have missionaries there? Is there much success? Is Shane still working with the teachers? Do you have a calling? Does Kathryn have a calling? Tell them I said thank you for their prayers and that they have helped me out so much! Anyway! I love ya!!

Ben,
Hey Benjimus! Thanks for your emails as always, I think you write me the most next to mom and Dad! Tell those kids at church that I said I think they are awesome and I totally want to know where all of them are going to serve their missions and stuff! How are other things and stuff in life? Fun and exciting why not? (in the voice of Dr. Zoidberg).. In our zone we are having "September +" or.. "September +Plus" basically our goal is to be positive about EVERYTHING this month and to only focus on the good stuff.. basically I guess to be happy! That's a tough one for me.. I am a "stiff missionary" I guess.. I don't know basically I am pretty much always unsatisfied with our numbers.. as looking for better numbers.. I know that numbers don't really show a missionaries success but I am just so strict about having good numbers.. Now i guess I miss spoke because I am a positive missionary and love the work.. but each night we come in that our numbers are "bad" I approach it kinda negative and think.. "what are we not doing.. we have to be better than this".. even if we gave it our all and its not "our fault".. so that's what I will be working on.. being positive on even the roughest of days.. I don't know why I shared that with you.. maybe just cause in the family when I think about missionaries you are the first one i can think of because you were the first to serve a mission and it had a big impact on me.. and I know you know what missions are all about.. Matt and Sam too but for some reason i just think of you!
Anyway! I love ya! Stay awesome!

Umm looks like I lost Sam and Laceys email addresses but if you can send this to them!
Hey Sam and Lacey.. Sorry I haven't written you for awhile I know you are busy! Thanks for your emails, its been forever probably since I've written you guys! Sam I think you should be a bone doctor.. cause that sounds cool! Lacy every time i see a new era at a members home I always try to find an article from you, I think I've only seen the one in the April 2009 one, but I am always sure to point out to the members that my sister-in-law writes in the new era sometimes, so thanks for the cool points you get me! I miss you guys and especially the little guys.. How are they! I think Sam said that Riley is pretty much the same as ever and that's awesome.. I think he should be that way forever! Anywho! Stay cool and "remember what I told you!.." "it was just vapor lock"

To soon!
Hey all! Hope everyone is well! The district is really doing great with a total of 9 baptisms at this point.. that was 8 last transfer and 1 today! The sisters work hard and know how to do missionary work. Elder Richardson and I do our best to figure out what we can improve and work on to become better and to find more people! I have been thinking about missionary work lately and I truly love it! It is such an amazing blessing for me in my life! Yesterday was such an awesome day for whatever reason it really was so much fun even though we didn't have the most success! I am in love with the work!
So transfers came on Wednesday. I feel like this is surely my last transfer in the office. Like last transfer we got to go meet the new missionaries! It was awesome! They looked so bright and so ready! They actually got to talk to one of our Recent converts who was baptized the Saturday before the new missionaries arrived on Monday night! It was so call. We were late but as we walked into the mission home and came around the corning into the living room she was sitting in front of all 9 new missionaries telling them about her experience and about her testimony! She was such a prepared young woman! She is always so excited and happy about the Book of Mormon! So that was a cool and rare tender mercy and experience.. Sitting in the living room of Presidents home and talking with these new missionaries about missionary work! I loved it! Well Elder Cooney has gone home and there are now 4 assistants to the president again. Elder Solomon is still here but the others are Elder Fromm, Elder Hepworth and Elder Johns. Both Elder Johns and Elder Hepworth served as my Zone Leaders in the past and are pretty amazing missionaries. Elder Johns only joined the church about 3 years ago so he is a great example to me and for whatever reason really loves me. It's fun to see them each day at the office and to work with and around them and President McConkie. Missionary work is just that. Nothing but fun! Hardships in the work just make the fun times even more fun! Elder Solomon will be going home this transfer, it's quite a bummer I love that guy! He is just like Sam.. so if you can imagine he's way funny and way hard working! I really love serving with and around him, we have fun. I have some pictures I will send in just a bit; these past few weeks have simply been amazing! We had dinner and a "family home evening" at Sister Kirbys house with her Daughter and the whole Anderson family.. (so 6 of last transfers baptisms!) it was so cool to see them all interact! They just love each other which I was not really expecting!
It has been so amazing to see the faith of the Andersons! He lost his job and his cars and everything just seemed to be going down hill before his families baptisms.. which is not unexpected at times.. Even Sister Anderson had a kidney stone the day of her baptism... They are an amazing family! I love em! In fact we are going to go play football with Zach in about 2 hours... Zach Anderson has not yet been baptized but I know he will, he is an awesome kid.. also like Sam.
Well sorry this letter was so long! I hope everyone is having a good week and that Dad gets the job! I will be praying for you! "Keep watching the 'skies'..."
