I did fail to mention two amazing miracles we have had this past week! One of which took place at the temple.
Elder Robinson and I were invited to teach a wonderful Lady named Abby at the temple, with two other Elders and two Sisters. We arrived at the temple and walked the temple grounds with her and then went inside to the waiting room. All six missionaries bore testimony as we taught. Now, Abby has been an investigator since we have been out on our missions. She was taught her first lesson 9 months ago by my companion, Elder Robinson (this is why we were invited). Also it was the first lesson Elder Robinson ever taught (since we came out together from the MTC, so that was cool). The Lord prepared the way and provided two awesome members to be at the temple who ended up baring amazing testimony and encouraged her forward to be baptized. At the end of our lesson in the temple Abby finally accepted a baptismal date for June 6th! It was an amazing experience! She truly has the countenance of Jesus Christ upon her as we learn about in Alma 5.
Another miracle is that we have been praying for miracles and also that we might be an answer to someones prayers who has been prepared. This was Sister Geiger. An amazing lady we met simply tracting and totally unexpected. She didn't listen 100% during the lesson we had with her, but she recognized us as an answer to her prayers and at the end of the lesson she said some amazing things about this experience we had just had with her. The spirit was SO strong! She is coming to church this Sunday! It was so cool. She said in her prayer that she had been looking for a church for about a month now and that before we came by somebody else had come by and invited her to their church. Truly she is now being given the opportunity to determine which of the two is truly the Lord's one true church!
It is my testimony that miracles do happen today! If not, then God would cease to be God! I know that if we pray fervently and steadfastly for blessings and even specifically miracles the Lord will bless us even with those specific miracles we pray for! I say that in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.ayers who has been prepared. This was Sister Geiger. An amazing lady we met simply tracting and totally unexpected.
